The name alone talked me into it. I was meeting a fellow agent at 102 Market St in Old Town Tomball β Hee Haw's Tacos & Tequila β and I walked in already curious. Didn't leave disappointed.
Nicole and Ken Cole opened this place about three years ago, and you can tell it was built with intention. The covered patio is worn wood and old signage, string lights overhead, funky art on every surface β the kind of design that takes some personality to pull off. It's not trying to look like anything. It just is what it is, and that's exactly why it works.
An afternoon cocktail out there hits the right note. We grabbed a table outside. Two women named Wendy and Kelly were at the table next to us, each with a bright blue mason jar in hand β blue curacao margaritas, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. That settled what I was ordering before I touched the menu.

I ordered the blackened shrimp taco and the steak fajita taco. The shrimp came out piled with cabbage, cotija, and a green sauce β real char on them, good heat. The steak fajita had the peppers and onions you want, a decent cut of beef that wasn't overworked. I've eaten a lot of tacos across this area. These hold up.
Tacos are sold a la carte from a menu board. Chicken fajita runs $6.50, beef fajita $7, blackened shrimp $8, birria $7, redfish $9. Corn or flour tortilla, red onions for $0.25 extra. The margarita list is longer than the room suggests β frozen and on the rocks, blue curacao, strawberry, watermelon, mango, spicy. Mexican sodas are $4 with unlimited refills. The bar is stacked deep with tequila, which is the whole point.

The bartender had us from the door. That's not a small thing β bad service undoes good food fast, and this wasn't a problem here.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday until 9pm, closed Sunday. Parking on Market Street in Old Town is easy enough β just get there ahead of the Friday patio rush.
Real talk: Nicole and Ken built something worth supporting. If you're already in Old Town Tomball, 102 Market St is not a detour. It's the stop. The tacos are right, the margaritas are fun, and they also offer catering if you want to bring the whole situation to your next event.
