Last March, my mother was diagnosed with early dementia. She lives alone, cooks her own meals, handles her taxes, and shows up to her Senior Center like clockwork. She is a force. That diagnosis sent me into months of deep research, and on November 4th at Wesley Auditorium on Lake Woodlands Drive, I am bringing together a panel of specialists to share what I learned, because real talk, we all need to hear this, and so do our partners. Doors open at 12:30 for a 1:00 PM forum covering brain health, exercise, nutrition, hormones, sleep, and community support, with a Q&A led by experts who are giving their time for free. Admission is $35 per person or $500 for a table of eight, and every dollar goes to Montgomery County Women's Charities, who will also be on-site at the Expo.
What Women Want to Know NOW: A Women's Brain Health Forum is on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 1:00 PM, at Wesley Auditorium. Rick Raanes is the organizer. It is listed under community_gathering on the LIVIN calendar.
