The Pour House may be located in the corner of a strip mall on the north end of Chico, but they created a patio with an atmosphere worth talking about.

Soccer runs on the main display right now as everyone is invested in the World Cup, but they change the main screen according to what sport season it is. Bartenders work a full well and on a Friday evening it feels like a place that has real regulars, not just people who wandered in. The sightlines from the bar stools are great and you do not have to crane your neck to see any of the games.
If you're hungry, start with the deep fried green beans. They come in a wire basket, crispy all the way through, with a dipping sauce on the side. They'll disappear fast, trust me on this.

If you are sitting down for dinner, the BLT is really good. It has thick bacon, tomato that actually has flavor, and crisp lettuce on toasted sourdough bread. It comes with a side salad or fries and if you're daring enough, garlic fries! (They DO NOT skimp on the garlic so be ready. They are phenomenal.) The menu also has tacos, Asian Iceberg Cups, incredible burgers and different types of Rice Bowls. We have yet to order something we haven't loved or would order again.
