Walk The Woodlands Mall: A Loop of Holiday Gift Stops
Two levels, about 1 1/3 miles around both, with gift stops from James Avery to Cinnabon along the way.

I walked The Woodlands Mall on October 28, and holiday displays were already up. The mall calls itself a premier fashion center in North Houston, and says it sits just 30 minutes north of Houston in The Woodlands, TX. It is a two-story, enclosed mall that opened in 1994, with an outdoor section added in 2004.
The loop
For mall walkers, the mall's own visitor page puts numbers on it. Level one and level two are both approximately 2/3 mile around, for a total of approximately 1 1/3 miles around both levels.

Stop 1: Brighton Collectibles, Level 2
Brighton is on Level 2. The mall's Brighton page says you will find designs that accessorize women from head to toe. The company says it is one of the few remaining companies with its own in-house design team and skilled artisans.
Inside, Brighton says every Brighton Collectibles store feels like a home away from home, filled with warm wood floors, vaulted ceilings and chandeliers. The Woodlands store page lists charms and Western belts among its categories.

Stop 2: Bath & Body Works and Aerie, Level 2 near North Main
Both of these shops are on Level 2, near North Main.
The mall's Bath & Body Works page describes fragrant, flavorful indulgences, including shower gels, lotions, candles and accessories. The holiday display was already up when I came through.
The mall's Aerie page says Aerie is bras, undies and more, made with love and attention to even the smallest detail. The Woodlands American Eagle and Aerie store page calls that store your destination for inclusive sizing and sustainably made styles, and lists bra fitting among its services.

Stop 3: Cinnabon and the carousel, Level 2 food court
Cinnabon is on Level 2, in the food court, and the mall lists it as home to World Famous Cinnamon Rolls. The rolls are filled with lots of thick brown sugar and Makara cinnamon, then topped with freshly made cream cheese frosting. Cinnabon says the rolls are served within 30 minutes of the oven. I caught the fresh trays on camera.
Right nearby is a carousel on the second level near the food court, with kiddie rides located on the first level. For the carousel, the mall says one adult chaperone is required per child. For a place to sit outside, the mall points to patio dining behind the food court on the second level past the carousel, and tables located at the lawn on the first level.

Stop 4: Arhaus, Level 1
Down on Level 1 is Arhaus, which the mall describes as handcrafted home furnishings reflective of a distinct global point of view. The Woodlands showroom has signature reclaimed oak flooring, brick walls and immersive displays.
Arhaus says its designers travel the world, working with artisans to bring one-of-a-kind furnishings directly to customers. The company cites more than 50% of its products using recycled or reclaimed materials. At the Woodlands showroom, design consultants are available to help with color and layout choices.
A Christmas tree was already up in the Arhaus window on the day I visited.

Stop 5: James Avery, Level 1 in Center Court
James Avery sits on Level 1, in Center Court. The company describes itself as a family-owned company located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, with designs created by its own skilled artisans in Kerrville, Texas. It says it has 85 James Avery stores in five states.
The Woodlands James Avery store page says to enjoy complimentary first-time soldering of James Avery charms, and to explore engraving options and order personalized jewelry in store. The page also mentions a professional cleaning on up to ten James Avery items per visit.

If you go
The mall is at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. From Interstate 45, the mall says to take Exit 77, Lake Woodlands Drive. Valet parking is available and is located on the south side of the mall. Check hours before you go.
If you would rather leave the car, the Woodlands Waterway Trolley provides free transportation along a 4.1-mile route connecting The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, The Woodlands Waterway and Hughes Landing. The mall says four trolleys operate seven days a week and circulate approximately every 10 minutes during peak operating hours.

The holiday extras
The Courtyard at The Woodlands Mall has a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree at its heart, with a synchronized light-and-music show. Santa is setting up his photography workshop in the mall from November 13 to December 24, 2026. Walk-ins are welcome, but guests are encouraged to reserve their time slot on the mall's website.
