They carry over 70,000 titles — Fiction, Sci-Fi, Architecture, Comics, New Age, and a lot more. That number doesn't feel real until you're standing in it. The floors creak under your feet and the whole place smells like old books. You slow down without even thinking about it.
They keep worn wooden stools in the aisles so you can sit and flip through something before you decide. Nobody rushes you. The staff are friendly and if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it for you. Real talk — that kind of service is rare.
The back sections are their own world — mystery, thriller, genre books stacked floor to ceiling. A Ouija board was sitting on top of one of the shelves when I was in. Felt about right.
